how is the sci-fi drama coveyed in Dr Who?

Sound In Dr who there are eerie sounds, that along with other sounds, build up a picture in your head of space like creatures attacking earth etc. In the dr who part we watched, the sounds that I picked out were, the tardis whizzing and wiring in to action, the doctor, who was pressing buttons which make noises like what you expect a space ships buttons to make. When the titanic crashed through the side of the tardis, the boats horn was blaring and also the sound of a collision of a ship onto metal. Graunching sounds of a crash. Also the crows nest warning bell was ringing. When the doctor was inside the ship and was in the party there was, Christmas music and also talking and laughing and the general sounds of which you expect at a party. When something critical to the episode happened then some dramatic music would be played or playing as the characters were discussing what’s wrong or when they have just realised something is wrong. Editing. When the titanic and the tardis collide, the titanic’s hull is pushed through the wall of the tardis which shows a large set was needed to do this or it was done through computer graphics and editing. Some of the tardis wall is shattered and flies around the tardis knocking over the doctor which wouldn't have happened as they would have used a rope and pulled the doctor over when filming this scene. The tardis then fixes its self and you see the entire wall re-grow back to what it should be like. When on the titanic you see earth and surrounding space out through a window. This is some good editing as they could not have gone to space for this particular shot so editing was needed here. The doctor takes a teleportation device and is teleported on to earth and is in a London street. As the teleport, there is a blue light that surrounds them as they disappear and then they reappear in London. Camera. A lot of shots were used in this episode, long shot, medium shot, and a shot where you see the doctor and a woman through a window, over the shoulder shot which enables the viewer to see out of the ships windscreen onto earth and outer space. There is also a shot where people walk out of a door and one person is left and he returns back to the ships steering wheel with the captain. There is also an over view of the party and a view of the ship travelling through space and you can see earth in the background. Mise En Scene. A lot of props were needed for this episode. tardis titanic large ball room party decorations fancy costumes i.e. ball gowns and suits old decors were needed in this to depict the class and age of the ship. Oak tables and clocks etc when in London there was an empty street with shops closed and also a newspaper stand with a man in it showing that the area is a lonely place to be at the moment.
